Here’s the official lyric video for “Nothing Compares.” Katie—I’ve talked about her often—did another great job. I think I need to write 10 more songs just so she make more of them for me.

Two days until the first day of spring, y’all. Here’s a cheerful, sunshiny lyric video to help you celebrate. Well done, Katie. I can’t stop watching it, singing along, and dancing to this great video you put together for me.

I remember writing this song in Nashville (on a borrowed Roland keyboard) like it was yesterday. I wrote it in February of 2020 and released this lyric video three years ago. And the line “My life’s no longer on pause” doesn’t make me sob anymore every time I hear it. Yippee!
