Yellow Lilies

I wanted to mark my “15 years cancer-free” by going to Christianson’s Nursery and buying a huge Alaska cedar which I’ve always wanted.

Instead, at Fred Meyer’s, while I was buying my customary pink geraniums for my patio pots, I saw these and couldn’t resist. I mean, they’re yellow and cheerful. How could you not celebrate with them?

Oh, who am I kidding? We all know I’m going to end up with that Alaska cedar as well.
