Before I flew out here to Nashville, I took 12 measures I wrote back in 2015, added words and some more measures, had Jennie help me rework the chorus lyrics, and followed her suggestion to change verse 4 into a bridge.
Oh yeah, and together we came up with a better title than the one I talked about here. 😉
The ink was barely dry on this one before I hopped on the airplane. I wasn’t sure I would be able to pull it off. Then, yesterday in the recording studio, Jennie made the song come to life with her amazing voice. That girl is one talented cookie.
Dallas then worked his magic.
Me? I got to play some wild piano and had a permanent smile plastered on my face all day.
