Last night
Me: “Would you be interested in recording the cover of that song?”

Megan: “I am pretty booked up unless we do it tomorrow.”

Me: “I am teaching from 1:30 to 4:30, but the rest of the day is free.”

Megan: No response.

Me: *Waits patiently for response, goes in hot tub, falls asleep on couch.* 😉

This morning
Me (trying not to be a pest), “Would you rather record today? Or Saturday?”

Megan: “Ummm, it would be fun today! I have some things to do around the house so it’ll have to be after your students.”

Me: “Perfect. Is it terrible to wish that all my students would call in sick today?😉”
