My husband and I had to run to town to buy me a pair of hiking boots and Smartwool socks this morning before we headed into the park because my feet (in Chacos) aren’t liking all the dust around here.
Once we came to Artists Paintpots, we had to drive around the parking lot circle five times before we could squeeze into a spot.
Then, it was a bit of a jaunt to get to the top—I was panting and had to stop two or three times (at least my feet were happy )—but it was so worth it to see the spectacular view for miles.
