Panic City

That awkward moment when you are on praise team and you are yakking back in the green room during the sermon (because you already heard it during the first service)—just you and the worship leader—one of those deep, awesome conversations, when you glance up at the TV screen on the wall and realize the rest of the band is already up on the stage while the preacher is praying, getting ready to play the final song, and you and your praise leader jump up and hustle your buns back up to the stage as fast as you can and you sit down on your piano bench only to realize that you were in such a hurry to get to your keyboard that you forgot your glasses on the table in the green room so you panic and the young vocalist to your right sees the terrified look on your face and asks what’s wrong and you start saying that you forgot your glasses over and over and she asks you where they are (at least twice) but you can’t seem to answer her and instead keep muttering like a crazy person and by this time she probably wants to slap you but instead she calmly gets the information out of you and runs back to the green room while the minister is still praying and gets them for you just in time.
