Several years ago, I came to Nashville with a particular song that three other vocalists had backed out on for various reasons: death in the family, move out of state, and a scheduling conflict. I was ready to dump it, when the producer lined up Katrien whom I’d never met. Two bars in, I was crying. Shocker, I know.
She’s a powerhouse singer with a great personality.
I chose her for the two songs we recorded today because I knew her voice would be perfect for both and I was right.
