Steve, the owner of the Real Noni farm we toured today (fascinating!), warned us of how dangerous Larsen’s Beach—just down the road from his property—is.
Of course, we hiked down there. 
The trail was narrow with tall grass on both sides of us. I tried really hard to put aside the fact that I am extremely claustrophobic. I felt like I was walking through a cornfield in Iowa. 
We were just getting ready to plop down on the sand and eat lunch when it started pouring. We headed for the closest shade tree and still got drenched.
Two minutes later, it was sunny.
I made myself sit in the water, attempting to conquer my fear of the ocean. I know what you’re thinking: “Is she gonna start blathering on and on about the time she almost got sucked out to sea by that sneaker wave on the coast of California?”
It was traumatic, people, okay? 
Today, however, was not traumatic. It was another great day here in paradise.
