I mentioned recently that it’s been 16 years since my cancer diagnosis. In addition to getting my hair done that day and getting together with the praise band, I bought this beauty.
As you know, I like any excuse to go pick up a new plant.
Last year, I bought six hydrangeas (if I remember correctly, they were all hydrangeas) to commemorate the six songs I recorded in Nashville last June.
I’ve tried real hard to remember which variety I bought for each song, but…well….
Today, while I was out in the yard in the rain admiring this latest addition, I decided it doesn’t really matter. All I know is, I can walk around our two-acre parcel and realize that a) I am not dead, b) I am blessed to be able to release these songs, and c) Ken is right there to help me celebrate all of it.
