And just like that: everything changes. I was a bit of a grumpy pants last night because I’ve been so exhausted dealing with my mom’s health issues, a crazy thyroid that won’t listen to me, and being overworked and underpaid, blah blah blah…..
Given: “Hey Marie, wondering if you’re available to play keys on August 7th?”
Me: “Yes, yes, yes!!! Please. Like I told Elijah, I thought maybe I was put out to pasture. 
”
Given: “Megan Friend will also be with us AND I want to do Forever Changed.”
Me: *Texting back all kinds of happy GIFS involving dancing frogs and dancing people.* 
So, people, on August 7 at CTK Skagit, we will be doing this song which is…well, just plain old a happy song. You better learn it, y’all, so you can sing and dance along.
