The problem is, we parked at the wrong end of the Train Wreck Trail.
The next thing we knew, we were skidding down rocks, hugging trees, keeping an eye out for bears—as we were the only people hiking in that remote section—all the while trying not to break an ankle or fall down the mountain.
Spectacular views, so maybe it wasn’t the wrong end after all.
