This morning, I had packed along my hiking boots—so I could take a picture for my benefactor (see my cancer website if you have no idea what I’m talking about)—because Ken and I planned to hike through the trees.
Instead, we hiked barefoot for hours in the sand on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Sometimes, life just doesn’t go the way you planned. And that’s not always a bad thing.
