In my last post, I announced that I was going to Nashville to record my song. This is what happened during my Zoom meeting with the producer:
Producer: “I’d like to do a video in addition to the song to further tell your story.”
Me: “Okay.” Playing it cool while inside I’m thinking, This is not happening. Someone pinch me.
Producer: “I’d like you to be thinking about what you want that to look like.”
Me: Gulp. Out loud, “I’d like it to look like I’ve lost 20 pounds over the next month.”
Producer: “Well, it really is true that the camera adds 20 pounds.”
Me: “So, what you’re saying is, if I lose 20 pounds, I’ll be right back at zero.”
