I have a photo shoot tomorrow (so I can have some updated photos for my CD cover). The last time I had professional pictures taken was in 2016.
The days leading up to the photo shoot usually cause me all kinds of anxiety. I may or may not have consumed a few chocolate bars and half a bag of marshmallows over the past week.
On top of that, I was stung by a bee on my wrist, had one celiac rash on my cheek clear up just in time to get another one on my chin, and then another rash sprang up on my neck for good measure.
I’m sure I’ve gained a few pounds. (One should probably not eat chocolate bars and marshmallows.)
But, instead of sweating the small stuff, I’m going to celebrate the fact that I am alive and healthy. Bring it. I’m ready for the camera.
