That’s Not Something…

Is it weird that I’ve listened to my own song about 257 times since it came out on July 7? I’m not gonna lie: it’s been a stressful month—taking care of my mom while she’s been sick—and I guess I just needed a little help from above.

My mom was finally released from the hospital and is now home. She’s extremely tired. So am I (because I just cleaned most of her house and spent time calming down the neighbors who wondered where she’s been for the past five days).  Thanks y’all for the texts, calls, flower, and prayers.

Sheesh, I still can’t get my communion “wine” open, weeks later. Struggled with it that Sunday morning—awkward—and now, I’m wondering if I should poke it with a knife and drink it or throw it away.
